Camillus Police Officer James Pollard recognized for DWI enforcement

— Camillus Police Officer James Pollard has been awarded the 2012 Mothers Against Drunk Driving – STOP DWI Individual Law Officer Award, sponsored by the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services.

Chief Thomas Winn and Captain Steve Rotunno represented the Camillus Police Department as Pollard was recognized for his achievements at the annual awards luncheon held Nov. 13 in Schenectady.

Pollard was recognized for his dedication to enforcing driving while intoxicated laws and charging 50 motorists with DWI in 2011. The roads of Camillus are safer thanks to Pollard’s dedication and contribution to impaired driver enforcement.
