To the editor:
We would like to thank the Marcellus Parks and Recreation Commission for providing so many fine travel opportunities for the people of Marcellus and beyond. We just finished a delightful trip to Lancaster, Pa., where we were able to sample the arts and crafts of the area and glimpse the life of the Old Order Amish. We really appreciated the delicious food too. This year we've also visited Lake George, the Berkshires and Cooperstown.
We would especially like to thank Phil and Kathy Coccia and Nove Tours for planning all of these excursions. Special, special thanks to Kathy for being our guide and making sure everything goes smoothly while we are away.
These trips not only broaden our horizons by showing how our neighbors are like and unlike us, they also help us to appreciate what a wonderful part of the country we live in.
We urge you to save your pennies and next spring take a look at the opportunities to see more of your world. Join us on a trip. It is well worth it.
