Kaitlyn Neal easily won last Wednesday’s Onondaga High School League Liberty division championship race at Jordan-Elbridge despite a rough day in the classroom, as she clocked a course-record time of 19:41.4 to lead her Skaneateles girls cross country team to the runner-up spot behind the merged team from Bishop-Ludden and Westhill.

Jordan-Elbridge was happy that it was running on its home course. Westhill-Bishop Ludden was happy that its deep pool of talent was in prime form. And both programs were happier once the Onondaga High School League Liberty division championship races were complete on an overcast Wednesday afternoon in October.
